BrickBreaker
Arcade · 200 coins to play · free in your browser
Paddle and ball against a wall of bricks. What separates a long run from a short one is angle control: the ball leaves the paddle differently depending on where it strikes, so a good player is aiming every return rather than merely intercepting it.
Is this your next game?
For players who like tracking one moving object and making small corrections. You control the paddle; the challenge is choosing the return angle.
Choose a cabinet in the arcade →How to play
- Drag to move the paddle; arrow keys also work.
- Tap or press space to launch the ball.
- Break a glowing brick and its item fires instantly — MEGA makes the ball huge and fast.
Mouse and keyboard
- Left and Right — move the paddle.
- Space — launch the ball, and serve after losing one.
Controls on a touchscreen
- Drag anywhere to slide the paddle; it tracks your finger rather than jumping to it.
- Tap to launch.
Scoring
- Each brick pays when it breaks. Tougher bricks take more than one hit and pay accordingly.
- Clearing the wall advances a level, and the next one starts faster.
Combos and multipliers
No multiplier. Bricks pay what they are worth, and the escalation comes from ball speed rising each level rather than from chaining hits.
How a run ends
Losing your last ball off the bottom of the screen.
Worth knowing
- Ball speed rises with each level, so the same wall gets harder the second time you see it.
Your first run
- Move under the ball early, then adjust the contact point as it approaches. A last-second full-screen drag makes the return harder to predict.
- Try to send the ball toward an opening in the wall. Once it travels behind the bricks, follow its eventual return rather than moving randomly underneath it.
A mistake to avoid
Watching only the brick that was hit. As soon as the ball turns downward, shift attention to where it will cross the paddle line.
Worked example
Clearing a wall adds 250 points on top of the bricks you broke. An off-centre paddle return helps reach a side opening, but saving the ball is more valuable than forcing that angle when you are late.
Examples describe in-game points or resources. Wallet rewards are calculated separately after submission.
